Program Overview
Our program is designed to integrate children ages 3-5 years. Our classroom size is a maximum of 20 children. We offer a combined program with small group activities designed for specific age groups and learning levels. Our rates are based on a full day program from 9am-3pm with an hour of daycare provided before and after school. We incorporate daycare hours to help with working family’s schedules. Children will be provided a healthy lunch and two snacks daily, included with tuition which is detailed on a monthly lunch menu.

Program Features
Developing the whole child
Dramatic Play
Creative expression through use of a puppet theatre/grocery stand, kitchen center, with a variety of costumes, masks and puppets to encourage role playing.
Block Play
A large variety of blocks are provided to stretch and build the imagination along with a tool bench and Lego table.
Music and Movement
Daily activities during circle and throughout the schedule to encourage singing, dancing, fingerplays and exploration with musical instruments.
Art
Daily creative activities using a variety of mediums such as paint, play doh, tissue and construction paper.
Gross Motor
Indoor and outdoor activities to encourage coordination skills and to improve brain function. We will be taking walks to Benzinger Park to stretch the muscles and get out the wiggles
Reading
Pre-reading skills such as phonemic awareness, letter and sound recognition, rhyming and creative journal writing
Math
skills such as counting, number recognition, quantifying numbers, graphing, shape recognition, comparing, patterning, and classifying
Science
Exploration of light, magnetism, floating and sinking, mass, magnification, sand and water play, We will be focusing on STEM activities to foster engineering skills. Our light table and spaceship will make the science area very popular for the young explorers
Sensory Table
Sand and water table to explore through the senses. The sensory table will have various materials to explore throughout the year including fake snow, colored rice, and water beads.
Dramatic Play
Block Play

Educational Philosophoy
Little Treasures Preschool will focus on the development of the whole child by providing both structured and child centered activities. We will focus on the social-emotional, cognitive, language and physical development of the child while providing a safe learning environment. It is our goal to give your child the tools to succeed in their school career by providing a good educational foundation which is structured around positive learning experiences. Our curriculum incorporates weekly thematic units that focus on creative exploration. Our curriculum is based off the Early Learning Standards. Our goal is to foster problem solving in children through a variety of STEM activities. Children are little treasures, and we look forward to discovering their creativity and learning potential.
